fanuca’s Gut Health Cooking Class

What is a gut health cooking class?
At fanuca's gut health–focused cooking classes, we introduce simple and delicious recipes that are easy to incorporate into your daily life. Our menus feature gut-friendly ingredients such as traditional Japanese fermented foods (like miso, natto, and pickles), as well as yogurt, kimchi, whole grains, and seasonal vegetables.

A Sustainable Gut Health Lifestyle
In addition to hands-on cooking practice, we also provide clear and simple explanations of the basics of gut health and helpful tips for maintaining a healthy gut. All recipes are designed to be easily recreated at home, making it easy for even busy individuals to continue these healthy habits with confidence.
5 Reasons Why Gut Health Matters
The gut is often referred to as the "second brain" because of its deep connection to our physical health and mental well-being. Practicing gut health habits (chōkatsu) can help support overall wellness from the inside out.
Reason 01
Boosting Immunity
It is said that about 70% of the body's immune cells reside in the gut. When the gut environment is balanced, the immune system becomes stronger, helping to protect the body from illnesses such as colds and influenza. A healthier gut may also lead to improvements in allergy symptoms.

Reason 02
Improved Digestion and Nutrient Absorption
A healthy gut environment promotes smooth digestion and efficient absorption of nutrients from the foods we eat. On the other hand, an imbalanced gut can lead to issues such as nutrient deficiencies, constipation, and diarrhea.

Reason 03
Positive Effects on Mental Health
The gut plays a key role in producing serotonin, often called the “happiness hormone.” A well-balanced gut environment can help the body better cope with stress and may contribute to reduced feelings of anxiety and depression.です。

Reason 04
Weight Management and Metabolism Support
The gut microbiome plays a key role in metabolism, and by improving gut health, it’s possible to support a body that is less prone to weight gain. A balanced gut environment can also help relieve constipation and promote the smooth elimination of waste from the body.

Reason 05
Healthy Skin and Anti-Aging Benefits
A balanced gut environment helps the body eliminate toxins more efficiently, which can lead to clearer, healthier skin. Improving the gut microbiome may also slow down signs of aging, helping you maintain a more youthful appearance.
